Alone again and sitting by Zeus's Fist with her hair hanging over her shoulders. Only white mist fell past her lips, which she'd concluded to be steam due to the fact the air around her was warmer than herself. She stared down at the book in her hands, each letter rearranging itself to help her read even easier. She sighed and ran a hand through her hair, taking her glasses off and cleaning the lenses a little bit. No one had approached her, as usual, and it was perfectly fine for her. It wasn't like anybody bullied her if she kept a distance from them. Closing her book, she let out a sigh and stared at the steam, wondering if she'd ever figure out how to be a normal demigod. Then, she put her glasses back on and stood up, walking back towards the cabins where her mom had been given a cabin in the minor gods and goddesses section.

Adair sat on the dock of the lake, he had just pulled himself out of the lake and was relaxing on the dock. He heard some girls talking a few feet away in a group that he was so hot and that one of them should ask him out on a date or something. This caused Adair to snicker slightly, he loved woman, but he didn't want to go out with anymore sluts at the moment. But he might make a split second decision and go out with a hot girl at camp and get some love from her. But he didn't know if he would do that just yet.

Holding the book at her side, Asteria slouched over to conceal her presence from other campers and just walked to her cabin. She didn't like feeling invisible at all, but the idea of what could happen if they knew she was there frightened her even more. So, she just kept her head down and walked to the Chione cabin, lightly pushing the door open to welcome cold air on her skin.

Adair had gotten bored with swimming in the water and stood up, snatching up his towel that was by his side and started drying off his body, slowly wiping his body off and walking to his cabin. He dried his hair off mostly, it still shining with water that was left in his hair. He wiped his eyes with the palms of his hands. He made it to his cabin and walked inside, changing his shorts and underwear in the back, keeping the shirt off because it was still somewhat hot.

Asteria walked into the bathroom they had and took off her glasses, looking at herself in the mirror. She sighed and put her hair back in a ponytail and slid her glasses back on. Kicking off her shoes, she sat on her bed and opened her book to read.

Adair pursed his lips to find out something to do. He was bored out of his mind, it actually bewildered him how much he was bored at that one moment. "What to do... What to do..." He mumbled as he looked around camp, brushing woman off his arms, maybe he should've put a shirt on. Too late now, he didn't want to go put one on cause he was in a lazy mood. He groaned and just started walking around, looking around as he went.

Asteria eventually walked out of her cabin again, her hair still hanging down. She adjusted her glasses on her nose and looked around, holding her book to her chest. Sighing, she walked towards the basketball court, hoping it would be abandoned. Amazingly, it was vacant and hardly anyone was hanging out in that area. So, she walked over to one of the stands that held up the basket and sat down against it, opening her book.

The dribbling of a basketball filled the concrete court. Adair had walked in and started dribbling, not having played basketball in so long he thought that he needed to brush on his basketball skills if he wanted to play a game with his boys. He shot the ball and it bounced off the rim, coming back to him thankfully so he wouldn't have to chase it. He just kept shooting, making some and missing some, getting the ball wherever it went.

Astoria peered up past her glasses, seeing a blurry figure on the other side of the court. She watched him shoot for a few seconds and started giggling a little, under her breath as she noted the obvious flaws in his form. However, she just continued reading instead of trying to help him.

Adair sighed and heard the girl giggle lightly, it just barely floated to his ears. He raised an eyebrow and turned towards her, walking towards her and bending down close to her. "Can I ask what's funny?" He asked and smiled a bit in the corner of his mouth.

Astoria kept her head down, not saying a word to the male. She couldn't believe how easily she'd let her presence be known. Biting her lip, she stared into the pages of her book, praying the boy didn't already feel the iciness radiating from her skin.

"C'mon, don't be shy. Get your head out of the book so I can know, please." Adair said and nudged her knee with his elbow. "What's so bad about conversing with a man like me?" He asked and pursed his lips lightly.

Asteria pulled her knee back as a reaction to his touch with a soft gasp. White mist tumbled past her lips as she let go of the breath she'd been holding. Her piercing ice blue eyes glanced up at him from behind her glasses. He was a normal camper, definitely, so she made a move to gt away from him.

"Am I that ugly, I don't see what the girls see in me then. See you then." He said and started shooting baskets again, starting to shoot again.

Asteria walked quickly to find a new place to read, her head low to conceal her identity.
