Tombstone didn't move. She couldn't. She felt stiff, frozen, paused.... Muted. No feeling crossed her emotional wall. There was nothing. Her heart was an empty vessel waiting to be filled with a hunger of over millions of years. Now, all she was was just a blank slate, waiting to be written on. Just sitting, watching, waiting as minutes walked by her eyes, not sure how to react or how to capture them. There was no love, no anger, no hope, no sadness, nothing. "When there's nothing left to hold onto, what are you supposed to hold to keep yourself from falling into an abyss of broken dreams?" she asked to no one in particular.

He thought for a moment. "You build yourself a mountain of things to hold on too." he murmured, "and protect yourself from the abyss in any way you can." of coarse, if tombstones brother had been there he would have probably argued, but mat didn't give a damn about that.

Tombstone just sighed and averted her eyes to the ground. His words were not, in the slightest, helpful.

Mat was one of those people who in this situation preferred to keep his mouth shut. as his advice was rarely helpful.

"There's nothing to hold onto though. You can't build it if you don't have it. That's like trying to make an ice mountain in the Sahara Desert with nothing but water." she mumbled, staring at the ground.

"Then you have to rely on others to give you the supplies." he murmured, looking at her.

Tombstone scoffed. Like anyone wanted to be involved with her. Tombstone sighed and got up. She allowedmher feet to carry her into the woods, away from camp. The sound of crunching leaves and chirping birds filled the silence. Was it worth it? Was it worth it just to let everything happen? So many questions needed answers, but only few would have a logical answer. Tombstone walked out the border to camp and went to Thalia's Tree. She sat sat down there and leaned back against the trunk.

Tombstone sighed and looked over at him. "Don't you have something better to do than hang around your upset pregnant girlfriend?" she asked.
