Darken jumped at the sound of his voice and shrugged a little. "I'm going out to-" she hesitated for a moment before deciding to tell the truth, "take a walk in the woods. Something seems strange about them." She continued looking for her flashlight before she found it and checked the battery on it.

"Then I'm going with you, I don't feel like it's that safe in the woods." Peyton said and walked over to her.

Darken looked at him and chewed her lower lip a little before nodding slightly. She turned off the light in her room and navigated her way downstairs and out the back door without the flashlight.

Peyton used his speed for the first time to get dressed quickly and meet her at the back door in a minute.

Darken was outside when he came out, waiting for him. The air was so quiet and so still it gave off an eerie feeling.

Darken shrugged a little and switched it on. "Woods are unpredictable." she murmured.

"We're practically bulletproof and we are super fast with night vision. A flashlight wouldn't do much." Peyton said, smiling. He leaned over and kissed her cheek.

Darken blushed and shrugged, but continued on towards the woods. To her relief, there was no fence that lead to a strange abandoned area.

Darken's breathing hitched a little and she blushed darker, squeezing his hand a little
