Peyton didn't move from the general area, just walking around the fence and dragging the stick along it.

Darken's breathing hitched at the sloppy drawings of trees, but one looked odd. It wasn't a tree at all. A twig snapped a little ways away and she ripped the note off the tree, running away from that spot.

Peyton found an opening in the fence and walked through it, looking around with his flashlight.

Darken shined her flashlight around frantically as she walked along the path. After half of a minute passed, she calmed her nerves and continued on the stroll.

Peyton found a note on a tree and took it off, reading it while shining his flashlight on it.

Darken heard static and she let out a sharp, but very, very short scream. Her vocal cords quickly muted themselves due to fear. Static had echoed in her head as she walked, causing her to start sprinting again.

Peyton shrugged and saw the other flashlight bobbing madly, so he made his way to it, walking. He was for some reason completely calm. He didn't know why, but he heard footsteps approaching him.

Peyton hummed and started getting closer to the other flashlight, wondering why she screamed and started running.

Darken turned off the flashlight and continued walking like that, preferring darkness over seeing what was behind her.

Peyton hummed as he walked, seeing the flashlight suddenly go off. Doesn't matter, he could feel everything in the dark. He walked towards the lithe shape of a body that he sensed.

Darken looked around the forest, her hood drawn back. In the distance, she saw a group of rocks and walked towards them.

Peyton turned off hsi flashlight and walked over to the woman and tapped her on the shoulder when he arrived near her.

Darken jumped about a mile when someone touched her, causing her to spin around as she clutched the fabric over her not-so-beating heart. She let out a sigh of relief when she saw it was Peyton and gently grabbed his hand, pulling him with her around the rocks.

Peyton blushed a bit in the dark and walked by her side. He liked this, a lot for some reason.
