both a beginning and an end - brothers on a hotel bed
Seven didn’t understand how she felt. All she knew is that it was a vaguely comfortable feeling. It was a kind of warm feeling. She was simply standing in the rain, that was it. Standing in the rain on the corner under a street sign. Getting soaking wet on a warm evening. People were walking by with umbrellas, waiting to get in taxis going inside, she just stood there. Tears streaked her face, the dark circles around her eyes had grown daily. She could have used a nap. She could have used a hug. But no she was comfortably standing in the rain just contemplating, not caring as cars drove by and splooshed her with mucky water.
She was thinking about all the things she didn’t understand. How mat could betray her, how rowan could betray her, how she could hurt herself, how her brothers could be dead. Everything. the only movement besides her breathing was the sobs, that everyone and a while would result in a small choked sound
Blood dripped slowly down her arm, from something she resented having done, through the word on her arm that she had worked so hard on through the ‘happyness’ there was a line. She had crossed it out, denied that there could be happiness, but she was not smiling, no her face was blank.
It was dark.
The artificial light did nothing to aid in her appearance.

The brunette boy took the helmet off his head, but the fact that his hair was less wet than his clothing did nothing to aid him. He locked the bike to a tree and looked around the streets. His umbrella was clasped tightly in his left hand, but he made no attempt to use it. Immediately, his feet carried him around the area without his brain giving any commands. He didn't need his brain to tell him what his heart had been repeating much too often.
"Sadie!" was the name he shouted, but he hardly recognized it as his own voice anymore. It was too rough, too scared, too hopeless.
Still, he ran down the streets, forgetting the rain pounding on his back. Chills ran throughout his torso at the touch of the wind through his soaked shirt. His heart raced from the excessive exercise and the scare of Seven being out in this weather. Blonde hair entered his vision as well as the familiar sight of blood and lots of it. He ran over to her and opened the umbrella, holding it over her head as he panted. His heart drummed in his ears at the sudden stop and he smiled, standing outside of the umbrella. His hair was drenched with sweat and water, like his shirt.
"I finally found you." he said.

Seven hated crying especially in public. She hated when women with there no good little fucking kids glanced at her. She hated that she couldn't just kill them. But, crying was on the top of the hate list, one point was that it made her look incredibly frivolous, as well as the fact that it left her our of breath. Seven hated not being able to breath, she hated gasping for breath.
Someone was screaming a name down the street. Seven let out a small scoff, someone had gotten lo- wait was that her name. was someone looking for her. she hardly recognised her boyfreinds frightened voise untill she noticed she was no longer getting rained on, and she looked up to see him smiling at her, happy to...see her.
She tried to hide her arm the one that was bleeding.
She Tried to stop crying.
But there really wasn't any use.
"Yeah." she replied her voice soft, then after a few sniffles concluded "You found me."
She then found herself hugging him, clinging to him, she just wanted him to tell her everything was going to be okay.
maybe she wouldn't argue this time, maybe she could live with Believing the 'obviously' wrong.

Kevin found himself crying out of happiness, but he was glad that the ran could easily cover that. He hugged the shorter girl with his hand and held her tightly, glad she was okay. The wet fabric didn't bother him at all, but he made sure to hold the umbrella above their heads so they didn't get any wetter than they already word. He listened to her sniffles and sobs, only caring that she was alive and breathing.
"It's okay, love. Now, let's go back and get your arm cleaned up." he muttered.
He kept his arm around the blonde figure and guided her back towards his motorcycle, suddenly thinking that he probably should have taken a rental car. He gave her the umbrella, telling her to hold it over her own body, and went to unlock the chain, which he promptly wrapped around his neck. He gave her his helmet and took the umbrella back, making it into a portable model again. He hung the umbrella on the chain on his neck and got on the motorcycle.

She was glad he was there with her. glad he would help and in fact gave a small nod when he told her it would be okay. She really wanted it to be okay. he made her feel more secure, less vulnerable. more stable, and that was all such a good thing. However as soon as she saw his motorcycle her face paled.
"I can't ride that." she said in a quiet manor. "I don't do transportation vehicles of any kind." she didn't want to cause an argument, but she just couldn't bring herself to do it.
"Im sorry but. Not since." and then she stopped talking tears pouring more rapidly into her eyes, no she couldn't bring up his death. that was not happening.
And suddenly she found her self feeling awfully sick to her stomach.

Kevin nodded a little and got off, locking the bike again. He took the umbrella and opened it, holding it over their heads again. He didn't want his beautiful, although he found her not knowing just how gorgeous she was, girlfriend to get scared or relive any painful memories. That was just the type of guy he was and if she felt like playing with him or screwing him over, he'd never notice simply because he would do anything just to make her smile.
"We'll walk, then. It's not too far to the apartment." he stated.
As usual, Kevin put his arm over Seven's shoulders and hugged him to her side as he held the umbrella over him. He wanted her to feel secure and safe with him. The breeze swirled around the streets, causing Kevin's skin to freeze up a little from the water droplets that clung to his skin. Soon, goosebumps rose up along his arms as he walked, but he tried to pay them no attention.

((I fucking had a response all typed for this an accidentaly clicked out.)
"Thank you" the blonde girl whispered. "Im sorry to cause the inconvenience" (She really Wasn't) "but you know since my brother got hit be a truck and" she stopped once again, this was not a time for bad memory. No, he was not nagging or scolding her about what she had done, they were not yelling, it was a nice change of events.
He really was to nice for her. And Seven figured that this was the reason why they didn't get along better. She really needed the kind of guy waho was unafraid to kick her ass. Kevin was, obviously, not that kind of guy. Yet for some reason she really did love him. If she didn't she would have left. Seven certaintly had no issue with hurting feelings.
She was enjoying Walking next to him
She was enjoying the fact they were not arguing
She was enjoying that her was holding her close
However, she was not enjoying the fact that he was cold, and it was obviously from the goosebumps that she could see. "Your going to catch a cold." she said simply.

((Clicking's a bitch.))
Kevin paid no mind to her memory, but a discontent sigh managed to slip past his lips. He looked down at her and smiled, gently. "I know, I know." he muttered. He was in no mood to scold her about remembering something so awful while she was practically bleeding to death. To him, the only thing that mattered was that she was safe and on her way back to shelter.
"It matters very little whether I'm cold or not, you were probably standing out here much longer and bleeding, no less." he replied.
His grip on her tightened a little at the thought and he shook his head a little. His eyes locked on the sleeve of her jacket, which he expected was stained with crimson. He looked at her and kissed her head, rubbing the arm that his hand was resting on. No matter how much he'd said it, it seemed that she still found it joyous to take a knife to her own flesh. It hurt him to know that she harmed herself for pleasure. Grunting, he looked for a sheltered area where he could wrap her arm without worrying about the rain.

Seven heaved a sigh. She was actaully upset that he smiled at her after the news about her brother, she knew he knew but it was just- she cut that fact off, she was trying to be good. She sighed and found herself trying to stay closer to her.
"I wasn't cold." Seven Said quietly "If i was cold i would have gone inside." her voice got edgery "im not bleeding that much." and then very quietly she muttered "Im not dumb."
Seven was just the kind of person to look the gift horse in the mouth, so to speak. But after sayign it she felt bad, he was trying to make her feel beter. "Im sorry." She said. "i just havent been havign such a great time lately. I hope you can understand."
She paused and after a few moments murmered "I love you."

Kevin sighed and rubbed her arm. "You worry me, much too often. I don't like you being out here in this weather with or without your arm sliced up." he said. He shook his head and looked down at her, a small frown on his lips. "I understand and I love you too, Seven." he said.

"Weather happens all the time." She tired to explain although he was testing her patients. "Kevin, i like the rain, i enjoy being out in it, it gives me time to think for myself. Im certaintly not going to melt." She sighed and stopped walking, if he also stopped she would rest her forhead on his arm "Im so fucked up." she would mutter numbly.

Kevin stopped abruptly when she did, pulling her closer. "I know, I'm sorry. It just scares me, after all that you've been through, what might happen when I find you gone for so long." he muttered. He continued holding the umbrella over their heads, looking to see how much farther they had to walk.

"im sorry i had you worried." Seven said quietly. "Nothing was going to happen." Seven sighed she wasn't really sure how she felt about anything at the given moment. "I'll try to tell you when im going to be out so long. but, im not a little kid anymore." Seven sighed "The last time i checked i was pretty much free to do what i want without others consent. At least when it come to residiung in a house, ect."

Kevin looked at her and kissed her head. "I never said you were a child. I just said it worries me. I love you, Seven, and I don't ever want to see you hurt or have you go missing." he muttered. He hugged her with his one free arm and sighed.

"I know, i overreacted." She stated "even if we were i think a small fact called sexual intercourse would make you calling me a child null and void, And i love you too, but i do think you over react sometimes." She said simply. Seven was trying her best to be civilized. Normally she would have been yelling and arguing by now.
