Theseus whispered something into Somber's ear and smiled. Somber nodded and trotted after Mack and Julien.

Julien heard Somber coming and sighed. "We got company, Mack..." he said. Mack sighed and shook his head.

Somber stood beside them and growled silently. He circled them slowly.

Julien rolled his eyes and played a simple song with his bag pipes. Vines grew out of the ground and wrapped around Somber's paws.

Somber growled at him. Theseus walked up to them. "What are you doing to him?" she asked.

Julien waved his hand dismissively and the vines shrank back into the ground. Mack continued on and Julien followed.

Julien sighed. He played a short tune on his reed pipes and vines sprouted and intertwined, blocking Theseus's path.

Theseus snapped her fingers and the vines parted wide enough that she stepped through.
