Nope, not even close.
Tombstone sighed and ran a hand through her straight black hair. Two children rested in her lap. One boy and one girl, both only a few months old. People who passed her mumbled things such as 'slut', 'whore', or 'hooker.' Sometimes, Tombstone would glare at them and other times she would just sigh and begin to believe it was true. Tombstone looked down at her burdens, thinking about how every other girl had it easy and even if they ended up pregnant, their boyfriend would be there to help them raise the child. Tombstone had lost the person she had cared about most and after that brief feeling of relief and happiness she had realized she needed someone who didn't give a shit about what happened to her. Only now did she wish she'd never fallen in love and she had wished that no one could stop her from committing suicide.
A soft cry fell upon deaf ears, only to be responded to as a chorus of crying began to start causing stares from other campers. Tombstone picked up her children and got up, heading to the Big House where she was currently taking refuge to escape from the glares of her siblings. Tombstone went up to her room and sang to her kids while putting their binkies in their mouths. She quickly got their formula and replaced their binkies with their bottles, sitting on the bed beside them.Jack soon entered the room and helped her nurse the two kids. His eyes moved over to her and he studied her face, trying to read her blank expression. "What are you going to do? You can't do this on your own and I need to leave soon. Alanis is terrified she'll hurt Daniel and Tawny... What are you going to do?" he asked. The question took Tombstone by surprise, her eyes glistening with tears as her poker face came crumbling like the wall around her.
The silence around them grew heavy as Tombstone's tears hit the sheets. Both of her kids had already fallen asleep. "I... I don't know." she whispered. Jack stood up and hugged her, tightly. He guided her into the bathroom and closed the door so she could cry without waking up her kids. Her legs gave way and she fell to the tile floor, sobbing. Jack knelt next to her and pulled her into a tight embrace, rubbing her back. Listening to her heart sink and shatter at the same time made both of them hurt even more. Jack couldn't stand seeing Tombstone like this and Tombstone hated missing her asshole ex. The heartbreak never ended for her, but, for some reason, she didn't want it to end. It made her feel almost normal... Almost.
